Lesley-Anne Marks is a Partner at WhiteBird, PLLC. She concentrates her practice on appellate law and family law matters. For Lesley-Anne, her practice is not just a vocation but a calling. Her compassionate approach to problem-solving has made her a respected leader in the legal community.

Early in her career, Lesley-Anne had the privilege of working closely with retired Judge Kerry I. Evander of the Fifth District Court of Appeal. His mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping her approach to her work, imparting a profound understanding of complex legal issues and instilling the values of thoughtfulness, compassion, and honesty in advocacy – pillars of her legal practice today.

Among her most notable achievements is her involvement in the appeal of Arch Insurance Company v. Kubicki Draper, LLC. This landmark case saw the Florida Supreme Court expanding the pool of third parties eligible to sue for legal malpractice.

Recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in shaping a more just and equitable legal system, Lesley-Anne regularly advocates for initiatives that encourage and support women in pursuing and thriving in legal careers.

As you might expect from a long-time Floridian, she enjoys spending time outside. Whether swimming, kayaking, or boating, Lesley-Anne embraces anything that connects her with the water. She spends her free time with her fiancé and beloved black Labrador Retriever, Beau – her cherished “fur baby.”
