Dale A. Dettmer is a Partner at WhiteBird, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in business law, estate planning, and real property law. Dale is board-certified in Taxation by the Florida Bar Board and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating an attorney can achieve, recognizing excellence in legal ability and ethics.

As an active member of the legal community, Dale has held many leadership positions, including past Chairman and a member of the Board of Trustees of Florida Institute of Technology; a member of the Board of Trustees of Health First Health Plans; past member of the Board of Trustees of Health First, Inc.; past chairman and a Trustee Emeritus of Health First Foundation, Inc.; past Chairman and Director Emeritus of the Community Foundation for Brevard, Inc., and past member of the Board of Directors of Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc.

Dale was a founding shareholder and later Chairman of the Board of The Bank Brevard, Inc. when it merged with and into BankFIRST. He served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of BankFIRST and a member of the board of directors of The BANKshares, Inc., a bank holding company, which subsequently merged with and into Seacoast National Bank.

Dale has practiced law in Melbourne, Florida, since 1974. He and his wife Pamela have three children. When not practicing law, Dale enjoys cycling, traveling, and reading.
