Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Jorge Alfonso, Jr., joined WhiteBird, PLLC, in April 2024. Jorge knew he wanted to be an attorney from a young age and recognized that it provided incredible professional and personal development opportunities.

Jorge’s parents and grandparents immigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1980. His drive to provide top-notch legal representation to his clients is his way of paying back his family’s hard work and sacrifices, giving him the opportunities he enjoys today.

While he is still early in his career as an attorney, he has already won several dispositive motions for his clients. He is ambitious and passionate about the practice of law, believing that it can be a highly effective means for discovering the truth when facing conflict. Jorge serves his clients with honesty and integrity while anticipating their needs and being thoroughly prepared for any situation.

Jorge obtained his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2018. He then immediately entered Florida State University College of Law, from where he graduated in 2021 with his Juris Doctor. During school, he interned for Florida Supreme Court Justice Jorge Labarga and Florida Senator Victor Torres. He also worked for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and the Florida State University Veterans Law Symposium. He has been admitted to the Florida State Bar since 2021 and relocated to Melbourne in 2023.

When he is away from the office, Jorge enjoys spending time with his wife and their two Golden Retrievers, Breck and Bryce. He also enjoys all types of sports and outdoor activities, both as a fan and a participant. He and his wife love to travel throughout the United States, but they have a particular fondness for the National Parks.
